BIG SKY CONFERENCE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION:

The 2008 Big Sky Conference Cross Country Championship, sponsored by Brooks, takes place on Saturday Nov. 1st, at Blue Lake Park in Portland, Ore. The coarse is 99% grass with some asphalt/gravel crossing and 20 meters of packed sand each loop. The men’s race consists of three 2400 meter loops with 300 meter connections for start and finish. While the Women’s race consists of three 1465 meter loops with the same start/finish connections.

Blue Lake Park has been used in the past for NCAA West Regionals, but the actual layout of the course isn’t the same although it does cover much of the same paths.
